Otto Juote criticized the National Coalition Party for allegedly abandoning its values and becoming an assistant to the right-wing government. He wrote that disappointed voters were shifting to support the Left Alliance and the Social Democratic Party and questioned where the previously promised projects, such as Garden Helsinki, senior spa vouchers, and the sale of natural monopolies to international investors, had gone. Juote ironically described the National Coalition Party as a leftist social-liberal party, which in his view had previously supported, among other things, state-owned projects, service vouchers, increased immigration from developing countries, climate actions, and support packages. He claimed that the party had also held onto acquired benefits while it spoke of cuts and reducing debt. Additionally, Juote asked why discussions about entrepreneurship, economic growth, and warnings about right-wing policies seemed to have disappeared from the party. He wrote that Orpo's National Coalition Party no longer reflected the pragmatic interest group and system party that he had previously supported. Juote estimated that he would likely vote for a red tie-wearing socialist in the upcoming elections instead of a blue tie-wearing one for the first time. #Kokoomus #Vasemmistoliitto #Politiikka (translated)

12,4 pinnaa kannatusmittauksessa on vasemmistoliitolle jälleen uusi ennätys. Gallupit rytisee kun linja on kirkas. Kiitos siitä meidän tyypeille ympäri Suomea! Olette parhaita! ❤️ #Vasemmistoliitto #Gallup #Politiikka

Minja Koskela wrote that the Left Alliance's support of 12.4 percent was once again a new record. According to her, the party's clear stance was reflected in the polls, and she thanked the party's members across Finland. #Vasemmistoliitto #Gallup #Politiikka (translated)

Jari Mäkäräinen criticized Yle for often choosing female journalists to incite moral panic, according to him. He interpreted Yle's analysis as showing that support for the National Coalition Party among women had dropped to 12 percent and that the Finns Party had surpassed this party. However, according to Mäkäräinen, women were not punishing the National Coalition Party for its policies but for its austerity measures, and men were supporting the state. Mäkäräinen believed that the decline in women's support was due to the impact of budget cuts on sectors predominantly employing women, such as social services, organizations, and public services. In his view, this did not make the cuts unjust, but rather highlighted their effects. He mentioned the Social Democratic Party, the Left Alliance, and the Centre Party as the most popular parties among women and claimed that the left proposed tax increases amounting to nine billion euros. According to Mäkäräinen, the costs of these increases would fall on men who work overtime, start businesses, and pay progressive taxes. Mäkäräinen assessed that the issue for the National Coalition Party was its attempt to soften difficult decisions, while the Finns Party spoke about the same issues more directly. He argued that men were underrepresented in the care sector and overrepresented in dangerous jobs, entrepreneurship, and at the high end of the tax revenue spectrum. In his opinion, the National Coalition Party should maintain its stance even if it lost some female support, as this could help it win over voters who support the sustainability of the state. https://t.co/DfwLyPN03s #Politiikka #NaistenOikeudet #Taloustieto (translated)

Matias Turkkila wrote that according to the morning poll, the Finns Party had surpassed the National Coalition Party. He criticized Yle's choice to give the result and the difficult situation of the National Coalition Party for analysis to Tulikukka de Fresnes, who had worked for a leftist party newspaper. According to Turkkila, the analysis focused on criticism of the government and racism. Turkkila referred to a previous EVA study, according to which Yle was, in his opinion, more left-leaning than the main supporter of the Left Alliance, Kansan Uutiset. He previously thought that journalists who had worked at Kansan Uutiset would move Yle to the left, but now believed they were shifting it to the center. #politiikka #media #Suomi (translated)

Mika Merano wrote that he considers the support development of the Finns Party to be positive. According to him, the party's support had tended to rise before the parliamentary elections and was greater than the polling numbers in the elections. He hoped that the development would continue until the elections and assessed that the support for the Finns Party would mean less corruption and immigration as well as prioritizing citizens. Merano congratulated the Left Alliance on their record results. He assessed that this was due to positive work and offering genuine alternatives, although he considered these alternatives to be poor and extremely harmful himself. He was not surprised by the Greens' support remaining stagnant, as he believed the Left Alliance already offered everything that the Greens did, and described the Greens' communication as sour whining. Regarding the situation of the Centre Party, Merano wrote metaphorically that the party's sun had set behind the culverts. He described the Centre Party's election speeches as promises of cheap fuel for tractors. #perussuomalaiset #eduskuntavaalit #suomi (translated)

In a recent poll by Yle, the Finns Party surpassed the National Coalition Party and became the second most popular party, while the Left Alliance achieved a record percentage in their support. #Perussuomalaiset #kannatusmittaus #politiikka (translated)

Matti Viren wrote that as the level of schools collapsed, attention turned to homeschooling. He noted that one might have thought the Left Alliance was behind the matter, but added that it didn't matter. https://t.co/2uh217QCRx #Vasemmistoliitto #koulutus #kotikoulut (translated)

Timo Wegelius claimed that Sofia used abusive language towards Orpo because she was concerned about the declining support for her own party. According to him, the Greens were trying to be more leftist than the Left Alliance, which also explained the criticism towards the debt brake. Wegelius also made a strongly derogatory characterization of Sofia. https://t.co/McIkzosIOa #politiikka #kritisointi #Vihreät (translated)

The Daily Bureaucrat asked Jussi Saramo to comment and wrote that the situation had reached a stage where things were going seriously wrong. Sture Fjäder questioned the patriotism of the SDP, Left Alliance, and the Greens, writing that Palestine was more important to them than the security of Finland and Finns. #puolustus https://t.co/Q3Ev4aOjOE #suomi #puolustus #politiikka (translated)

We do not have a single party classified as an extremist movement in the parliament, let alone in the government. Why insult mildly differing voters by labeling their mandate as radical and an extremist movement that disrupts social peace? Because that is clearly not the case. The left may have radical statements, but I do not even consider the Left Alliance as an extreme left party, as it clearly commits to parliamentarism. Let alone the Social Democrats. Extremity is only a lack of a sense of proportion. #politiikka #demokratia #yhteiskunta (translated)

Puolustusministeri Antti Häkkäsen vierailu Israelissa on herättänyt rajua kritiikkiä. Tämän keskustelun taustalla on lopulta Israelia suurempi kysymys.
