Česká republika je členem NATO a podepsala závazky, které jsme přijali vůči ostatním členům Severoatlantické aliance. Jakýkoli klub může fungovat jen tehdy, pokud všichni členové dodržují to, na čem se dohodli. V každém klubu je také potřeba platit členské příspěvky a totéž platí pro NATO. Proto bych opravdu vyzval všechny, aby zvážili, zda bychom společně nemohli dosáhnout hranice dvou procent. Tím dáváme najevo ochotu se navzájem bránit a udržet mír.
