Mickpl wrote that during the Senate's work on the bill regulating Airbnb rentals, there was lobbying from three foundations. According to him, these organizations demanded a change in the definition of hotel services, which would allow funds that had announced plans to build hotels but ultimately built rental apartments to avoid paying a 23% VAT. The author noted that the argument raised was the possible negative effects on students. In his opinion, this referred to individuals renting rooms in private dormitories for 3,000 PLN. He added that signing lease agreements could provide tenants with protection, and the status of students was not to be verified. Mickpl indicated that comments could be submitted regarding print number 863, as well as concerning the cooperatives he had written about earlier. #airbnb #ustawa #wynajem (translated)
