La República Argentina reafirma su compromiso con el pueblo venezolano ante la devastadora tragedia sísmica del 24 de junio y su plena disposición a brindar asistencia humanitaria de emergencia. En ese marco, en la tarde de hoy las Fuerzas Armadas de la Nación despegaron desde la Base Aérea de El Palomar en una operación de asistencia humanitaria, constituyéndose en el primer contingente nacional en partir hacia Venezuela. La aeronave de la @fuerzaaerea_arg transporta personal militar especializado, perros de búsqueda con sus guías, y equipamiento de la @Armada_Arg, en una misión conducida por el @EMCFFAA_Arg que refleja el profesionalismo, la preparación y la capacidad real de respuesta del país ante emergencias internacionales. En las próximas horas de la noche partirán dos nuevas aeronaves transportando la brigada de la Policía Federal Argentina y la brigada PUMA de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, sumando capacidad adicional a las operaciones de búsqueda y rescate en el terreno. Viajará también una misión consular especial para asistir a los argentinos residentes en Venezuela y a quienes tengan familiares en el país. La misión establecerá un canal humanitario directo con las autoridades venezolanas para atender búsquedas de paradero, registro de heridos y fallecidos, situaciones de menores no acompañados, y documentación de emergencia para ciudadanos indocumentados.
