So here it is: I'm heading to Active Reserves. Given my specialization, I will—who would have thought—become a doctor. The equipment of these units has seen quite a lot. As the 🇺🇦 battlefield shows, for example, the resilience of ambulances is very significant for the survival of the wounded. They've been waiting for them for quite some time... In short: the absurdity of the ruling treacherous populists will jeopardize the lives of our boys and girls who, despite all the disgusting, harassment, and humiliation, are willing to defend this country. I learned from the more experienced not to complain. We will improvise as we saw in 🇺🇦. Modifying civilian cars, buying equipment ourselves, setting up clinics in basements. We'll manage. But know in advance: to the marrow of my bones, I despise those who waste time and effort on defense at a time when we need to prepare for it... (translated)

The park ranger shot at the car in which a couple was sitting, the media thunder. However, there is also a second, much less publicized version of events in this story. According to Kampinos National Park, park rangers were on duty in a two-person patrol and were driving a marked vehicle. They intervened with a car that was in an area where private vehicles were not allowed. The park ranger's report states that the driver did not comply with issued orders and then suddenly accelerated the car towards the ranger, nearly hitting him. Only then did the ranger fire a shot aimed downwards. The bullet damaged the vehicle's radiator. This is significant because park rangers do not carry weapons "for decoration." They have legal authority to use it, and one of the legally provided cases is the necessity to stop a vehicle whose actions threaten the life or health of the officer or another person. Kampinos National Park has filed a notice in this matter concerning the suspicion of active assault on an officer. The ranger himself has many years of experience, appropriate training, and qualifications required to carry a weapon. Of course, it is ultimately the prosecutor who will determine which version of events corresponds to the actual course of the intervention and whether the use of the weapon was correct. However, it is worth remembering these circumstances before turning the ranger protecting the park into a person who "shot at tourists" for no reason. We wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that they simply wanted to flee to avoid responsibility for driving into the woods, and encountered a ranger who knows his rights and performed his duties excellently. A very nice issue of Reflex has just come out today. I would be glad if you would give it a chance. Here is my editorial on it: HOW SHOULD WE REMEMBER VÁCLAV HAVEL? I often say that I am "as old as the revolution," by which I obviously mean the Velvet one. And this alone brings a whole set of advantages. Your age always reflects the anniversary of the fall of the communist regime in Czechoslovakia, so you remember it well. I am not burdened by the sins of the past, having to decide whether to collaborate with the regime or not. Likewise, I do not have to blame myself for missing the harsh onset of capitalism and coupon privatization. I had to learn to speak first. And to walk. Those of us born in the early '90s sometimes tend to refer to ourselves as "Havel's children." But how can I identify with a person I didn't properly experience in adulthood, yet who so fundamentally shaped the state I grew up in? And how should I, as well as our entire nation, actually remember Havel? I cannot remember Havel like many other older journalists do. I leave it to my more experienced colleagues. I have only one small personal memory of him. I was about eight years old, and we were on a school excursion in Prague. My classmate and I were lagging at the end of our class line. There was a long queue at Wenceslas Square, and we walked along it. We got a bit distracted and created a gap. And into that gap stepped a crowd of people, in the middle of which walked Václav Havel. We both started staring at him and quickly exclaimed, "Good day, Mr. President," and he replied to us with his typical stammering 'r': "Hello, boys," and then disappeared into a bookstore to sign his books. The queue was standing there for him. It was the year he was dealing with health complications, delivered the famous Rudolfín speech, and signed the absolutely fundamental Czech-German declaration. But I only remember the "hello, boys." And that’s all. When he died in 2011, I was starting in the media, so I was only responsible for some minor media outputs around the funeral. Otherwise, I perceived him as the person whose picture hung next to the blackboard throughout my school life. On television, he appears either as a "gumshoe" in a satirical sketch or giving some speech that is too complicated for my child self to listen to. My opinions of him have therefore formed mostly indirectly, like for most people in our country. Through plays and compulsory reading in school, recordings of speeches, and the exceptional film Citizen Havel, where he allowed us to peer candidly into his private life. I never succumbed to the need to idolize him; I was most fascinated by the fact that despite such a rich life, he was essentially a "normal guy" who enjoyed life and who, even in the presidential office, could fulfill his dreams. A smoke with the Rolling Stones, meditation with the Dalai Lama, a beer with Clinton. None of that made him a better politician. Personally, it made him a human to me. The point of Havel's legacy and its breadth is, in my opinion, that everyone can remember him in their own way. Some remember him as the best person in history, others as a brilliant politician who is missed by the Czech Republic. Others see him as a naive believer in truth who preferred grand gestures over political pragmatism. Some as a womanizer, others as a great world author of absurd drama. Historians and philosophers still debate his legacy to this day. So vehemently that due to one "ezonomist" and pseudophilosopher on an electric unicycle, his name was removed from the library's title. But I would like to highlight one thing about him that seems increasingly rare in today's world. He managed to grow old without becoming bitter. He did not turn into a grump shouting at the clouds. He did not allow himself to be dominated by eternal contrarianism and being against all mainstream opinions at any cost. At the same time, he wasn't afraid to confront the mainstream until the end. I would wish for all of us to grow old like Havel. It’s a pity he was given only 75 years. I would have liked to listen to him even at ninety, which he would have celebrated this year. (translated)
We have the ability to overinterpret. The Tu-95MS disaster caused a lot of speculation. Meanwhile, there is no point in speculating. We shouldn't attribute any intentions to people suggesting things, as legends then circulate. Operational commander, Maj. Gen. pilot Ireneusz Nowak, sarcastically wrote that "Perhaps this particular one was the carrier of the Ch-101, which ended its flight near Tarnawa!" Just that, and that is enough. I am lucky to personally know General Nowak; he is from the old guard of the F-16, people trained in the USA, pilots often retrained by veterans of American military actions, mentally shaped as "tactical minded." Among this group were the first base commanders, division generals Darek Malinowski and Czarek Wiśniewski, along with Jacek Pszczoła, also a division general, a laid-back person who cannot be ruffled, and at the door of his office in Łask, there was at one time a sticker with a large wasp. They are exceptionally competent people, calm but capable of making quick decisions and unafraid of the responsibility for them. Another characteristic feature is truly outstanding intelligence. Why am I writing about this? Because people at this intellectual level often fall into the trap that what is clear and obvious to them is incomprehensible to others, and their minds drift into fascinating directions, to places that make one’s hair stand on end, wondering how it is even possible. That was the case this time as well. The flood of comments is overwhelming; personally, I was stunned. Scholars of the holy scripture wrote that the general suggests it was Polish saboteurs from Kedyw-bis. What can drop on a person's head, drops (in my case, my jaw, both hands, and the other leg). Maj. Gen. Ireneusz Nowak DOES NOT SUGGEST ANYTHING LIKE THAT. This is a gross overinterpretation. He only wrote that it may have been this Tu-95MS that fired the Ch-101 missile, which landed in Poland, as established as a result of deliberate action, not a mistake (such an impact point was in the navigational system’s memory, the only chance for a mistake being incorrect input of coordinates, which is very unlikely). Additionally, the missile did perform a classic "bump" with a vertical attack, driving into the ground almost at a right angle to it, executing the attack at the programmed location. Since the Tu-95MS belonging to the 22nd Guards Donbas Heavy Bomber Division from Engels (now Olenia) and to the 326th Tarnopol Heavy Bomber Division from Ukraine rotate to Engels or, less frequently, to Akhtubinsk to fire the Ch-101 at Ukraine for several hours, it is theoretically possible that this aircraft launched that missile (about 1 in 40 odds, as there are that many of them). What Maj. Gen. Ireneusz Nowak REALLY suggested, Mark Rutte, the Secretary General of NATO, somewhat more directly stated. The experienced politician knows that you have to lay it on the line for the simpletons because they will twist everything. They will make things up, add remarks, and generally go off in the wrong direction. Mark Rutte said several really important things: "Vladimir Putin knows he can never win against NATO; NATO is so strong that Russia has no chance of overcoming it." What does this mean? That NATO MUST BE UNITARY. WE MUST NOT ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE DIVIDED. He added: "NATO will defend every square kilometer of its territory. There is no doubt about it, and Putin knows this (...) If anything happens, we are ready to respond." “Well, first, about the word 'hybrid' – I have said this many times already. It sounds a bit too mild, almost cozy. In reality, we are talking about aggressive tactics in the gray zone. What we are dealing with is hostile drones, acts of diversion, sabotage, and even massive cyberattacks." "But I want to make it clear: we have all the response options we need. You will not always see them publicly. They will not always be symmetrical. It will not always operate on a 'tit for tat' basis, but I assure you that we have the tools for effective response, and the Russians know this perfectly well." THIS IS KEY. NATO IS NOT PASSIVE. NATO has many different tools for hybrid responses to Russia's hybrid attacks. And if Maj. Gen. Nowak suggested anything, IT WAS JUST THAT. You just need to understand it, know the context, listen to the statements of leading NATO politicians, and everything will become clear. And further Mark Rutte: “I do not claim that these malicious actions in the gray zone do not affect us. They do affect us, and sometimes it is very evident. However, our response can be multidimensional. Let’s look at the past. When, at the end of 2025, an underwater cable between Finland and Estonia was damaged, we launched Operation Baltic Sentry to protect our critical dilatory infrastructure. This was an example of a symmetrical response. But what happens next is asymmetric actions. More and more allies, such as Sweden, the United Kingdom, Belgium, or France, are taking coordinated steps to maximize the disruption of the Russian 'shadow fleet'. We are doing everything to make those rusted tankers stop generating the profits the Kremlin uses to fund its war machine." "Yesterday, the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe (SACEUR) stated plainly: 'Whenever you are able, when you are almost certain that the Russians stand behind an attack, publicly assign them the blame.' Just like Estonia did today. I fully support this and encourage it. Share all intelligence information with NATO and SHAPE structures. Russia continues its reckless campaign of hostile actions against NATO, trying to weaken our resolve and force us to stop supporting Kyiv. But it is failing. Our message to Moscow is clear: in response to any actions in the gray zone, we will do even more for Ukraine, not less. Because ultimately their only goal is to divide us so we lose focus and start arguing among ourselves." NATO is responding. NATO is providing Ukraine with a lot of ammunition. And Ukraine sends it further, to where it needs to land with a bang. NATO makes it harder for the shadow fleet to operate. It combats Russian spy networks; since the outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine in February 2022, NATO member states have expelled around 750 Russian diplomats: Bulgaria 83, Germany 80, Romania 52, Poland 45, France 40. How many "one-time saboteurs" are recruited in Russia for pennies remains a sweet mystery. But there, strangely enough, many different failures occur: trains derail, various things catch fire, blackouts appear, etc. Much of this is done by Ukrainians, but is it all? Who knows, who knows... Today, such saboteurs are rented online for pennies, massively, like cheap drones. They do it, and can we? And how do you know that there are no other intrigues? For example, discreet info in Kremlin circles that one is conspiring against another. Therefore, NATO has tools and can respond, which it is doing. Mainly in the field of cyberattacks that Russia is feeling. As for the Tu-95MS itself - if three engines go out at once, assuming it is true, in most cases it is due to fuel issues, either a break in fuel supply to the engines or fuel contamination, blocked filters, etc. Ukraine has seriously damaged the refineries producing aviation fuel. Often this production has been taken over by other refineries when technically possible. You can easily guess the quality of this fuel. So there could have been "not enough kerosene in the kerosene." Another issue is that the intensive use, these long hours of flights from Ukraine or Olenia to Engels, suspending missiles, and flying to launch over the Caspian Sea (if something goes wrong, the missile falls into the water), and then returning to the home base is about resources, resources, resources... Old bombers and their engines are wearing out at an accelerated pace. How do you think maintenance, spare parts, and technical servicing levels are? Well, exactly, the Russian bomber fleet is systematically degrading, and this can only be pleasing. Because we don't need those bombers for anything. In the picture, a "noisy cricket," the Tu-95MS, code-named "Bear" by NATO. Phot. Runet Dear friends, if you like it, and if I should dedicate my time to it, if you want to read something, I will ask for a coffee, it’s only 10 or 20 PLN. Best regards to everyone and a big thank you to those who buy coffees. (translated)

A fable about a dog and hay The dog climbed into the manger, full of fresh hay, and fell asleep there. After a while, tired and hungry oxen came to the barn, wanting to feed themselves after a long day of work. As they approached the manger, the dog jumped up, started barking furiously and snapping its teeth to drive them away. One of the oxen looked at him sadly and said: "What a selfish animal! One should not defend the candidate or minister of another party, but this is a national issue in essence. The foreign minister's decision on "persona non grata" is a quick process that is exclusively within the competence of the foreign minister. The interior minister must carry out procedural actions and also obtain opinions from competent state institutions, which may also mean stalling the decision at lower levels. If Dombrava calls for an immediate declaration of "non grata," then I assume there is a basis for it. And that is your competence. It is a faster process. And this is a decisive time. If the occupant hadn't been ousted before the 2022 elections, it would still stand because there wouldn't have been the necessary pressure of public opinion afterwards. It seems like a delay in the opportunity to get rid of one walking occupier… If there are no results now, we will continue to bring shame to the country. (translated)
This is Przemysław Czarnek as people want to see him. In a confrontation with a journalist from TVP, who was feeding budget propaganda from Tusk and Domański, he was unstoppable. "Do you remember the PiS governments? Do you remember that it was PiS who reduced the PIT tax to 12%? Do you remember that we exempted young people from PIT up to the age of 26? Do you remember that we lowered CIT to below 10%? Do you remember what happened after that? Budget revenues tripled. Because entrepreneurship in Poland requires liberation, while today entrepreneurs are oppressed. Their lump sum limit is being reduced from €2,000,000 to €250,000, meaning they will lose growth and earning potential. Today CIT is being raised, not lowered. Raising taxes will be necessary because, in their financial strategy, they planned to exceed the threshold, even though they themselves announced they wouldn't do it. Who do they think they are deceiving? The consequence will be the activation of the effects of Article 86." The battered TVP journalist wanted to change the subject at the end and transitioned to PiS's program solutions, but here too he hit a Czarek wall. "I invite you to the PiS economic congress on Saturday. We will present ideas there, but we have already previously presented a simple increase of the second tax threshold from 120,000 PLN to 180,000 PLN and leaving Poles with 12,000 PLN in their pockets, and couples with 24,000 PLN." At the very end, he dealt a blow to the journalist and Domański, referring to the bypassing of the Polish Constitution by the government and the treatment of same-sex partnerships as marriages. "Let me remind you at TVP that a marriage is a UNION OF A WOMAN AND A MAN, and not as Domański says, TWO GUYS." Absolutely phenomenal three minutes that show the reasons why Jarosław Kaczyński chose him as the frontman for the 2027 parliamentary elections. In this speech, Przemysław Czarnek combined the most important foundations that should characterize PiS over the next year. - PRIDE in the 8-year achievements of PiS - INFORMATION about the 8-year achievements of PiS - WITTY presentation of the 8-year achievements of PiS - SHARP AND ACCURATE presentation of the disastrous reality of Tusk's government - SWIFT RESPONSE to the propaganda of the government and Tusk's media barking dogs If Czarnek maintained this level all the time, he would be unstoppable.
