Heute hat die Staatsanwaltschaft Mannheim Anklage wegen des Verdachts des Mordes gegen den 17-jährigen (sofern er nicht beim Asylantrag gelogen hat) syrischen Staatsangehörigen Mohamed erhoben. Ihm wird vorgeworfen, in der Nacht zum 11. März 2026 die 19-jährige Ukrainerin Maria getötet zu haben. Als Motiv gibt die Staatsanwaltschaft an, dass Mohamed davon ausging, Maria hätte ihn betrogen und sie hätte ihn in seiner Ehre verletzt. Maria wollte sich von dem Angeklagten trennen, weil es zuvor bereits zu gewalttätigen Übergriffen kam, was die 19-Jährige auch bei der Polizei angezeigt hatte. Die Anzeige schützte Maria jedoch nicht. Am Abend des 10. März 2026 ließ sich Maria nochmals auf ein Treffen mit dem Angeklagten ein, was ihr Todesurteil bedeutete. In einem Waldstück schlug Mohamed zuerst 14 Mal mit der Faust gegen den Kopf und in das Gesicht von Maria. Als sie auf dem Boden lag, nahm er mehrere Aststücke und schlug mit diesen mindestens 40-mal gegen den Hals, den Kopf und in das Gesicht von Maria. Sie starb durch Verbluten und einem Ausfall der lebenswichtigen Steuerungszentren im Gehirn. Der Angeklagte befindet sich in Untersuchungshaft. Er kam 2022 unter dem Deckmantel Asyl nach Deutschland. Der SWR berichtet zwar heute über die Anklage, aber betreibt Täterschutz indem die Staatsangehörigkeit des Angeklagten den Lesern verschwiegen wird, obwohl sie in der Pressemitteilung der Staatsanwaltschaft genannt wird.
