Sprawdziłem pink tax w Polsce. I mam problem. Nie znalazłem go tam, gdzie podobno miał być najbardziej widoczny. W codziennych zakupach. Porównałem 15 ścisłych par produktów. Ta sama marka, model, funkcja, pojemność albo cena jednostkowa oraz te same warunki promocji. Ile razy wersja kobieca była droższa? Ani razu. W 10 przypadkach ceny były równe. W 5 więcej płacili mężczyźni. Pink tax? W mojej próbie raczej blue tax. Męska maszynka kosztowała więcej. Męski krem kosztował więcej. Męskie wkładki były droższe. Część kobiecych ubrań sportowych była objęta lepszą promocją, podczas gdy mężczyzna płacił pełną cenę. Ostatecznie cały badany koszyk męski był droższy o 176,25 zł. Dziwnym trafem ta informacja nie zrobiła takiej kariery jak hasło o kremach dla kobiet droższych o 67%. A przecież blue tax to nie tylko sama cena. To również mniejszy wybór produktów przeznaczonych dla mężczyzn. Gorsza dostępność części rozmiarów i wariantów. Produkty wciskane w stereotyp siły, sportu, czerni, zapachu drewna, silnika albo arktycznego lodowca. Często z dopiskiem „Men”, „Professional” lub „Extreme”, który ma uzasadniać wyższą cenę. Ten sam mechanizm marketingowy. Tylko kolor opakowania się nie zgadza z popularną narracją. Osobną sprawą są usługi fryzjerskie. Samo porównanie czasu pracy nie wystarcza. Godzina strzyżenia kobiety i godzina strzyżenia mężczyzny mogą oznaczać inny zakres usługi, technikę, modelowanie oraz inną ilość zużytych kosmetyków. Cenniki powinny opierać się na długości włosów, zakresie usługi i stopniu jej skomplikowania, a nie na płci klienta. Ale żeby mówić o pink tax, trzeba porównać naprawdę tę samą usługę. Nie tylko taką samą liczbę minut w kalendarzu. Czy to oznacza, że kobieta nigdy nie zapłaci więcej za niemal identyczny produkt? Nie. Takie przypadki mogą się zdarzać. Oznacza to jednak coś znacznie ważniejszego. Nie znalazłem dowodu na powszechny pink tax w codziennych zakupach. Znalazłem natomiast przypadki, w których więcej płacą mężczyźni. I o nich prawie nikt nie mówi. Gdyby w 15 porównaniach kobiety ani razu nie zapłaciły mniej, a pięć razy zapłaciły więcej, mielibyśmy artykuły o systemowej dyskryminacji. Kiedy taki wynik dotyczy mężczyzn, zapada cisza. Równość nie polega na nagłaśnianiu różnic tylko wtedy, gdy pasują do jednej narracji. Jeżeli więcej płaci kobieta, mówmy o tym. Jeżeli więcej płaci mężczyzna, również mówmy o tym. Te same zasady. Ta sama miara. Ta sama uczciwość. Fakty nie mają płci. A ottobre ci saranno le elezioni per il Csm, visto che al referendum hanno prevalso i No. Ed i nodi stanno venendo al pettine. Un magistrato che ha deciso di candidarsi come indipendente senza l'avallo della corrente a cui è iscritto e' stato da questa dichiarato decaduto seduta stante. Si chiama Vincenzo Depalma, era iscritto a Magistratura Indipendente che, a dispetto del nome, non digerisce l'indipendenza dei suoi associati. Cosa potrebbe accadere a chi, eletto consigliere del Csm con i voti di una corrente, ritenesse di trasgredire gli ordini di scuderia? Ma c'è di più. In questi giorni Magistratura Indipendente ha diffuso una circolare, nella quale ha addirittura "intimato" agli iscritti di votare per i propri candidati "ufficiali" specificando che "Tutti gli iscritti sono richiamati alla responsabilità che deriva dal vincolo associativo", e che "tutti i colleghi iscritti a Magistratura indipendente che sostengano espressamente candidati non designati dal gruppo si pongono in aperto e manifesto contrasto con la linea democratica e con le decisioni assunte dai competenti organi rappresentativi di Mi". Si appellano alla elegantemente "responsabilità che deriva dal vincolo associativo", ma la traduzione concreta e' una sola: continuare a mantenere nelle loro mani nomine, promozioni, valutazioni di professionalità, procedimenti disciplinari. Chi non passa dalle correnti può essere bravo o bravissimo, ma non fa carriera. Il giudice Depalma vuole candidarsi senza passare dalla corrente? Decaduto. Agli ingenui che nella campagna referendaria hanno recitato la cantilena che "le correnti della magistratura sono nobili associazioni portatrici di ricchezza culturale..." suggerisco di osservare questa campagna per l'elezione del CSM. Oggi Stefano Lorenzetto del @ilfoglio_it Foglio smentisce e smaschera tutte le menzogne statistiche dette da #Belpietro e della Verità su #difterite e #tubercolosi. Ecco qui il pezzo: “Maurizio Belpietro, direttore della Verità, in un editoriale attacca l’infettivologo genovese Matteo Bassetti. Argomento: la difterite. Belpietro sostiene che la portano gli extracomunitari e, per dimostrarlo, si rifà a uno “studio del New England Journal of medicine, e non a un articolo della Gazzetta dei caruggi, in cui si documenta che la malattia infettiva ha visto crescere i casi in tutta Europa a causa dell’aumento dei flussi migratori”. Poco oltre aggiunge: “Per non dire di un altro studio rintracciabile sul sito dell’Istituto Pasteur”. Peccato che non si tratti affatto di “un altro studio”, bensì del resoconto di quello pubblicato sul New England Journal of Medicine appena citato da Belpietro. Dopodiché, a proposito della tubercolosi, egli scrive: “Noi le statistiche le abbiamo guardate e dicono l’opposto di quel che sostiene l’illustre luminare del polpo alla brace. Nel 2024, ultimi dati disponibili, in Italia sono stati registrati 3.150 casi, corrispondenti a un tasso del 5,3% ogni 100.000 abitanti, con un incremento dell’8,9% rispetto all’anno precedente”. Deve averle guardate male, le statistiche, perché un tasso “del 5,3% ogni 100.000 abitanti” è palesemente sbagliato. Il dato corretto è 5,3 casi ogni 100.000 abitanti, non il 5,3 per cento, quindi lo 0,0053 per cento, come specifica l’Istituto superiore di sanità: “Nel 2024 sono stati notificati 3.150 casi” di Tbc, che corrispondono “a un tasso di notifica di 5,3 casi per 100.000 abitanti”. Belpietro aggiunge: “Scrive Sanità informazione: la quota dei casi tra i nati all’estero è arrivata al 63,2% su 100.000 abitanti, circa 13 volte superiore rispetto ai nati in Italia”. Ma il 63,2 per cento è la quota dei casi verificatisi fra persone nate all’estero: 1.991 su 3.150. Il tasso calcolato sugli stranieri è invece di 29,8 casi ogni 100.000 abitanti, pari allo 0,0298 per cento. Belpietro ha soppresso le parole “con un tasso di notifica di 29,8 per 100.000 abitanti”, presenti su Sanità informazione, saldando così due dati distinti e attribuendo alla fonte un nonsenso statistico. E fin qui siamo ai numeri a capocchia. Poi ci sarebbe la sintassi: “Bassetti è tornato perciò ai suoi vecchi amori e dunque, vista l’apertura del nostro giornale sulla difterite arrivata in Italia con i migranti, ha deciso di sproloquiare, smentendo la tesi che certe malattie infettive giungano nel nostro Paese sui barconi, nella speranza di guadagnare qualche titolo e magari anche un passaggio tv”. Il soggetto sottinteso di “nella speranza di guadagnare” è correttamente Bassetti, ma la sua distanza dall’espressione e la vicinanza di “malattie infettive” si traducono in una costruzione stilisticamente maldestra, quasi che fossero le malattie a sperare di guadagnare titoli di giornale e passaggi in tv.” L’ennesima figura di m. della Verità che tarocca i numeri della statistica e cita articoli inesistenti per confermare le proprie tesi di razzismo sanitario.
