Alexander Teske 3d

Alexander Teske referred to a text by Raphaël Schmeller, who described the transition from Frank Plasberg to Louis Klamroth as a remarkable decline. Schmeller criticized that in a discussion about Bas' resignation, the focus had mainly been on the relationship between the CDU and SPD: whether the CDU had been too harsh on Bas, whether the SPD had criticized the Union too sharply, and whether joint government work would still be possible afterwards. According to Schmeller, politics had been treated like a difficult couple relationship, while concrete conflicts of interest surrounding pensions, social benefits, and labor market policy had been neglected. He wrote that pensioners collecting bottle deposits, single mothers, and employees fearful of social decline might feel that the discussion did not take them seriously. Instead, it was discussed in the studio whether an SPD politician could accuse the CDU of "inhumanity" in dealing with Bas, while millions of people were concerned about their future existence. Schmeller described the show as politics turning into a spectacle. #Politik #Gesellschaft #Medien (translated)

Karina Moessbauer 6d

Karina Moessbauer reconstructed that Bärbel Bas said in the Bundestag on September 11 that the coalition must implement the pension reform within this legislative term. This caused dissatisfaction within the Union faction, which was pressing for swift action. Christian von Stetten sharply criticized Bas on the same evening, accusing her of blocking urgently needed reforms for months. Moessbauer wrote that the members of parliament were not aware of Bas' difficult personal situation at that time. Even when she questioned Hendrik Wüst about it on September 24, neither she nor Wüst knew about it. Wüst advocated that Bas should present a draft law so that the matter could be discussed and progress could be made. She expressed understanding that Bas had only shared her personal drama with a small circle, which included Friedrich Merz, among others. However, in her assessment, the accusation that the demands were inhumane given her situation does not apply to a large part of the statements. Most representatives of the Union only learned of the situation last week due to Bas’ absence from the coalition committee meeting on Wednesday. At the same time, according to Moessbauer, the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs must also be set up in such a way that important projects continue to be processed, even in such exceptional circumstances. #BärbelBas #Rentenreform #Bundestag (translated)

Waldemar Hartmann 7d

Waldemar Hartmann drew a critical balance of the day and referred to poll figures of 13 percent for the SPD, 14 percent for the CDU, and 4 percent for the CSU. He wrote that the SPD was dragging the Union along and accused its coalition partner of inhumane treatment of Labor Minister Bas after her resignation. Friedrich Merz had to respond and tried to present the results of a two-day retreat of the CDU's top committees as a plan for better times. However, Hartmann referred to these as reheated old ideas. In Schwerin, a woman was working against the AfD on a red-red-green government, which she wanted to lead as Chancellor after the next federal election, he wrote. The CDU remains committed to the "firewall," while Markus Söder wants to expel CDU members who voted with the AfD from the party. Karin Prien thinks the CDU is too conservative, Hartmann added. He saw bleak prospects for the party and wrote that the CDU had once again failed to recognize the signs of the times at the Adenauer House. #Politik #CDU #SPD (translated)

Gr@ntlɘr 🥨🍺 7d

Gr@ntlɘr wrote that people like Michael Kyrath and their fates are ignored and partially defamed. In connection with Bas, sharp methods of argumentation are once again employed, which the author referred to as leftist. In his opinion, the actual inhumanity occurs daily on the streets; large parts of politics and the media do not care about it. #Menschenrechte #Gesellschaft #Politik (translated)

Dr. David Lütke 7d

Dr. David Lütke described the "active victim role" as a tool of the Left. According to his portrayal, this role presents itself as a victim after mistakes and subsequent criticism, passively-aggressively accuses critics of inhumanity, elevates itself morally, and ultimately makes others responsible. https://t.co/vYUfpgx0kd #Opferrolle #Politik #Diskussion (translated)

Julius Böhm 7d

Julius Böhm wrote that Bärbel Bas and the SPD had already put politics at the forefront in their condolence message in the third sentence, although it had stated that politics would take a back seat. The entire SPD leadership had accused the CDU and the Chancellor of "inhumanity." He found that to be very political. #Politik #CDU #SPD (translated)

#Klimawandel #Politik #Debatte
