The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maciej Wewiór, addressed the comments made by MEP Adam Bielan regarding the need for truth in relations with the most important ally. He accused him of repeating a political message regarding the photo taken in front of the White House. Wewiór recalled that during the visit to the USA in September 2025, Minister Radosław Sikorski spoke, as he wrote, with people who are co-decisive about American policy. He mentioned the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Brian Mast, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Eric "Rick" Crawford, President Donald Trump's special envoy for Ukraine Gen. Keith Kellogg, Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Elbridge Colby, and the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers Kevin Hassett. According to Wewiór, the discussions focused on support for Ukraine, the presence of American troops in Poland, reinforcing NATO’s eastern flank, as well as Poland's potential inclusion in the G20 group. He added that Sikorski also met with experts from the Center for American Progress, the Institute for the Study of War, the America First Policy Institute, the Atlantic Council, the American Enterprise Institute, and the German Marshall Fund. Wewiór accused Bielan of attempting to draw the ally into party disputes. #Polska #USA #NATO (translated)
