Beatrice Achterberg criticized Article 16a, the Königstein key, the right to complain for anyone, the Geneva Refugee Convention, and the EU regulations. These elements had made the asylum system a vulnerable structure for abuse, she wrote. She advocated for its complete abolition and starting anew from scratch. #Asylsystem #Flüchtlingsrecht #EURegelwerk (translated)

Snicklink wrote that the left would realize that their demands for justice and equal treatment had been unsuccessful. The right would find that their desire for safety and tradition had turned against them and had become the basis for their own lack of freedom. Those in the political center, who had remained passive out of fear of taking a clear stance, would also, according to Snicklink, realize that without their own action, nothing would change. Very soon, people would understand that they had been pitted against each other, Snicklink wrote. Their fundamental values and needs, as well as their fears and hopes, had been deliberately addressed— a pattern that had been effective for thousands of years and tapped into tribal thinking. Snicklink also wrote that the human soul had been poisoned by too much information about the trivial and too little about the essential. The human spirit had been shaped and subjugated, and was so far removed from its source that people only found themselves in violence, plundering, envy, and generalizations. They had come to consider this their true nature, Snicklink wrote. The author added that all of this had to happen for people to rediscover themselves. In conclusion, he thanked God for accompanying people on their journey back to love. #Gerechtigkeit #Gesellschaft #Menschlichkeit (translated)

The autumn princess wrote that Donald Trump spoke of people from Africa, South America, and parts of Asia coming to Europe, labeling it as an invasion. He named the United Kingdom as the main suspect; previous governments had done little to counter it. The author argued that uncontrolled immigration had caused problems in many European countries regarding social spending, internal security, and social cohesion. She urged governments to regulate immigration more according to criteria that are acceptable to the citizens, and stated that otherwise, increasing criticism from abroad is not surprising. In conclusion, she characterized the contribution as satire and wrote that nothing in it was meant seriously. #Zuwanderung #Gesellschaft #Europa (translated)

Lexa wrote that Volodymyr Zelensky had traveled to London again to receive more weapons and financial support, not to negotiate. While the British struggled with high cost of living and energy prices, efforts continued to promote the continuation of support "so long as it takes"; according to Lexa, there was no realistic way out of the war of attrition. Trump had mentioned a diesel deal shortly beforehand and hinted that Ukraine needed a different style of leadership. Subsequently, Zelensky flew to Burnham and King Charles to secure further military assistance, Lexa wrote. The visit was a PR show rather than an exit strategy; British taxpayers would have to continue bearing the costs. #Ukraine #Selenskyj #Waffenhilfe (translated)
