Exactly 163 days have passed since the official press conference, during which Nikola Grbić, the coach of the Polish national team, announced the wide roster for the 2026 national season. Since that moment, with short breaks, almost everything has revolved around the team led by Nikola Grbić. I won't hide it, I had a lot of concerns before the start of this season. On one hand, due to the way the previous one ended, on the other - because of significant shortages on the list of called-up players. Later, unexpected health problems of players who have been fundamental figures of this team in recent years added to this. We lost a large group of extremely important players, along with them the depth of the squad in several crucial positions. At the same time, however, we managed to discover new important figures in the context of the future of the national team and the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. I am proud of this group, of the coach, but above all of his entire staff. Together, they managed to create a fantastic atmosphere that has been absent in this national team for a long time. An atmosphere that has become one of the factors leading us to a record series of victories, triumph in the Nations League, and the finals of the European Championships. And let’s hope that tonight we can also qualify for the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. I have the impression that we have returned to the moment three years ago when this team was truly a mental monster. Sometimes it may not have played the best, sometimes it faced problems, but when the most important moments came, it knew how to win them. And that is one of the traits of the best of the best. Up until today in this season, we have played a total of - officially and unofficially - 31 matches. The balance? 27 wins and only 4 losses. And each of those four losses was... in a tie-break. Each ended with a fight for advantage. If this team lost this year, it did so in the smallest possible way. Incredible. I wish myself and you that the end of this national season will be as beautiful as nearly 100 days of competition by this team all over the world. A to, że nie zdołał ustawić Urbańskiego „na właściwej pozycji”, a to, że nie wykorzystał okazji, żeby „milczeć” w sprawie przedłużania umów z Kapustyniakami albo, że styl papszunowy nie jest fajny, ale na szczęście on Bobić „nie jest egoistą”, bo tego „potrzebuje” klub. No i ta kropka nad i: „Das ist nicht Częstochowa”, czyli otwarty portfel i ogromny zakres władzy. Piękne. Bobić ma bardzo ciekawie skonstruowany kompas moralny. Tygodniami nie zapewnia piłkarzom trenera, ale ma totalne pretensje do nich, że jesienią nie stanęli na wysokości zadania. Nie daje trenerowi zawodników, którzy robią różnicę, bo i po co, skoro jego zdaniem takich w polskiej lidze nie ma (kłamie) i trzeba wygrywać „zespołem”. Niech sztab się martwi. Kibicom dla odmiany ostro dostaje się w tej rozmowie za to, że gwiżdżą na jego duńską pokrakę. Kompletnie przy tym zapomina o kontekście, czyli dlaczego gwiżdżą i od kiedy zaczęli. Naprawdę mało zabrakło, żeby pojawił się tutaj motyw „drewnianych chatek”. Ja, Fredi, muszę nauczyć was również kibicowania. Zwłaszcza, że sam Fredi - jak wiadomo - odnosi same sukcesy. Ostatnie „okienko było udane”, prawie nic nie wydaliśmy. Tak, trener został z trzema obrońcami, ale zostało dziewięć meczów, nie obejrzymy się, a już będzie zima. Rok temu z Astizem też nie obejrzeliśmy się, a już była zima. Nawet Elitima skomentował, bo został uznany przez Papszuna za najlepszego zawodnika Legii w poprzednim sezonie, ale odszedł. Fredi nie omieszkał skontrować, że „ale pierwszą rundę miał słabą”. Niebywały tupet, jak na gościa, dzięki któremu między innymi, a w szczególności dzięki nieudanym transferom z połowy 2025 roku, właściciel musiał wziąć tobołek i ruszyć w świat w poszukiwaniu pieniędzy, bo zabrakło mu na bieżącą działalność.
