Miró wrote that the current reporting on Fabian Köster is meant to portray critical inquiries from media figures of the left establishment as mere insults, thereby stifling critical questions in general. In this process, reporters are redefined as streamers and critical questions as attacks, in order to shield media people from further criticism. According to Miró, Köster and others can continue to criticize without being questioned about their work. Miró described the campaign as transparent and ridiculous, stating that media people must accept questions about their actions when adhering to journalistic standards—especially when the public has to finance their professional existence and they regularly mock others. #Journalismus #Medienkritik #Pressefreiheit (translated)

The economic guru wrote that the stamp duty on property purchases was high and questioned why it should increase with the value of the property when, according to him, the administration should not become more expensive. He stated that the property registration fee cost 1.5 percent of the purchase price and that new mortgage deeds incurred an additional 2 percent of the mortgage amount. In the case of a house purchase for 6 million kronor, the registration fee would, according to his calculations, cost 90,000 kronor. New mortgage deeds for 2 million kronor would add 40,000 kronor, resulting in a total stamp duty of 130,000 kronor, in addition to other costs. The economic guru instead suggested a fixed fee of at most 1,000 to 5,000 kronor and wrote that AI should be able to manage the registration of ownership changes and new mortgages at a low cost. #Fastighetsköp #Stämpelskatt #Bostad (translated)
