Jokainen näistä "kivakiva-tutkimuksista" haki n. +-500.000 euron pottia: 1) "Kiireellinen sijoitus visuaalisen viestinnän koekenttänä - miten visuaaliset viestintävälineet voivat parantaa lasten, nuorten ja vanhempien tiedonsaantia ymmärrystä ja osallisuutta kiireellisissä sijoituksissa." 2) "Yhteisösosiaalityön lähtökohdat ja paikka sosiaalityössä." 3) "Työttömyys palvelujärjestelmän rajapinnoilla: sosiaalityö työelämäosallisuuden välittäjänä." 4) "Suunnitelmallinen aikuissosiaalityö kannattelevan työotteen näkökulmasta." 5) "RAKENTUVA: Sosiaalihuolto vaikuttajana – Rakenteellinen sosiaalityö hyvinvointialueilla: muodot, mahdollisuudet ja kokeileva kehittäminen." 6) "Kuntoutusta ja kontrollia – lastensuojelulaitosten tehtävä,käsitykset ja käytännöt." 7) "Vaikeassa työmarkkinatilanteessa olevien työikäisten toimintakyvyn ja osallisuuden tukeminen." 8) "Palautetietoinen työskentelyote lastensuojelun avohuollossa: vaikuttavuus- ja kustannusvaikuttavuustutkimus." 9) "Priorisoinnin periaatteet, kriteerit ja eettinen jännite sosiaalihuollossa."
