The author of the post accused Pobożego of hypocrisy in accusing Donald Tusk of preparing a "year of hate," hatred, and political war. He claimed that for weeks Nawrocki and his entourage have been confronting the government: Bogucki publishes attacks on the Prime Minister and ministers almost daily, and similar statements are shared by the official account of the President's Chancellery. According to the author, Nawrocki presents the government's actions as a threat to Poland while simultaneously calling for dialogue and an end to the political war. The author also undermined the foundations of Pobożego's accusations, pointing to anonymous sources in the Prime Minister's Office. He accused Nawrocki's environment of fueling the conflict and accusing opponents while portraying themselves as victims. He called on Pobożego to respond to the statements of Bogucki, Nawrocki, and other representatives of this environment, and accused them of silencing their own involvement in escalating the dispute. #Polska #Polityka #Hipokryzja (translated)

The author wrote that before the three presidents sat down for talks, terms like "new Yalta" had already emerged. In his opinion, in European politics, history often replaced analysis, and the mere mention of the name of the Crimean resort triggered fears and exempted one from thinking. He also mentioned a possible meeting. https://t.co/zAWbYLWe0B #polityka #historia #Krym #RU #UA (translated)

The author, in connection with the latest wave of violence in France, recalled Charles de Gaulle, whom he described as the man who effectively saved France's honor. Krzysztof Kloc 5d

Krzysztof Kloc wrote that Adam Michnik has lost — in his opinion — Poland, influence on politics and the "government of souls," as well as his own editorial office. He claimed that the once-great newspaper has become a propaganda bulletin, and its leading authors are arguing about which floor they should work on. He accused Michnik of failing to leave behind a distinct political thought or successors, discouraging valuable minds, and undermining independent thinking across an entire generation. He added that the leading figures in this environment are currently Wieliński and Sadurski, and he wondered if Michnik is aware of this. #Polska #media #myślenie (translated)

Marcin Matczak wrote that the right wing in the USA wanted to publicly broadcast executions by firing squad, while the president of Poland proposed a discussion about broader access to guns. He assessed that such actions led to the militarization and brutalization of public life and promoted a cult of strength as a source of safety. In his opinion, safety depended on thinking, not strength — both in the past and present. https://t.co/USl51l8al7 #bezpieczeństwo #demokracja #militaryzacja (translated)

Financial Mind wrote that artificial intelligence may face criticism from doctors not because it will replace them, but because it will make patients aware of what they are paying for. According to him, when people learn that X% of diagnoses made by the doctors they visit were incorrect, the perception of this profession may change. He added that the argument that high salaries are due to the need to obtain education may cease to be convincing. #AI #medycyna #diagnoza (translated)

Marek Sikorski (bez zadęcia) 1w

Marek Sikorski (without pretense) criticized Jarosław Królewski and expressed hope that the issue would be addressed by the PZPN ethics committee. He accused Królewski of slandering Juras in connection with the pronunciation of players' names, inventing assaults on families with children, insinuating that referees sold the match, and conducting a media campaign against the environment of Legia Warsaw. Sikorski wrote that individuals representing clubs and influencing the environment should be held accountable for their words. He assessed that the insinuations regarding assaults and corruption are serious accusations, and that Królewski has not demonstrated responsibility. He added that in his opinion, such a narrative could harm Legia, among other things by affecting the club's perception by sponsors and the way its matches are officiated. Sikorski predicted that Królewski might blame Legia for the conflict. However, he emphasized that the club has already been punished for not allowing fans in, and stated that now Królewski should face consequences for the way he built the narrative. #PiłkaNożna #LegiaWarszawa #EtykaWsporcie (translated)

Dr. Krzysztof Pujdak 1w

Dr. Krzysztof Pujdak criticized the proceedings regarding the tragedy described by him. He wrote that the presence of a specialist in the ward does not guarantee proper care if the doctor cannot perform or assess a basic abdominal ultrasound, and the hospital does not have an effective way to obtain the examination urgently. He described the translation that the ultrasound was not performed due to the lack of a radiologist as a manifestation of faulty organization, and the lack of these skills and capabilities as compromising. Pujdak also referred to the explanation that there was no pediatric surgery department, so no help could be provided. He stated that the absence of such a department does not exempt one from recognizing the threat, initiating treatment, and organizing assistance. He also accused pediatricians of a too-narrow diagnostic approach and pointed out that differential diagnosis should have considered, among other things, bowel obstruction and basic surgical causes. He noted that diagnosing hyperglycemia does not require — as he put it — "diagnostic virtuosity." As an example of efficient action, he described a model that, as he wrote, could function in Germany: the emergency department doctor begins the diagnosis, and when he cannot perform or interpret the ultrasound himself, he calls a prepared colleague, e.g., a pediatrician or general surgeon. He added that outside of standard working hours, between 5:00 PM and 7:30 AM, such a doctor could be on call and come to the hospital. After further examinations, a decision should be made about surgery on-site if the appropriate conditions and competencies are available or about the immediate transfer of the child to the appropriate center. According to Pujdak, bowel obstruction can be operated on by any county hospital that has surgery and anesthesiology. Pujdak wrote that mistakes occur in every system, including the one he works in. However, he deemed the explanations that one could not help due to the lack of a radiologist, department, or appropriate specialization as shocking. #zdrowie #medycyna #chirurgia (translated)
