Po tylu latach obserwacji można już dostrzec u niego pewne zmiany i zachowania, których wcześniej nie było. Odnoszę wrażenie, że bolał go finał sezonu 2025 i fakt, że celu w postaci złota MŚ nie udało się zrealizować. Sporo było wówczas zarzutów. Sam otwarcie pisałem, że mimo zdobycia VNL, nie był to udany rok. Byliśmy apatyczną ekipą, która nie miała planu B, a w najważniejszym momencie sezonu zabrakło nam jakości. W tym roku było inaczej. I właśnie tę zmianę doceniam szczególnie. Nie brakowało nam elastyczności ani pomysłowości. Ta drużyna ma zbyt duży potencjał, żeby go nie wykorzystywać i ograniczać się wyłącznie do jednego schematu. Widzieliśmy to zarówno w finale VNL, gdy przeszliśmy na grę trzema przyjmującymi, jak i podczas ME, kiedy Grbić bardzo mądrze korzystał z ustawień i możliwości, które dawał mu skład. Na poziomie którego przez ostatnie lata oczekiwaliśmy od nieobecnych w tym roku. Podobnie było z Komendą. To był bardzo dobry rok naszego rozgrywającego, który w poprzednim sezonie zbierał sporo krytyki. Nie jest najbardziej „klikalną” postacią tej ekipy, nie otacza go aura największej gwiazdy, ale jego atutami pozostają chłodna głowa i dokładność. Wczorajszy finał był podsumowaniem jego przemiany w kadrze. Rozwiązaniem problemu na prawej stronie okazał się Bołądź. 32-latek od początku sezonu 2025/26 gra na poziomie 40% eff. w ataku.
