Bij Factcheck Vlaanderen werken dan journalisten van VRT Check (nog een ander factcheck-platform, van VRT, dat er miljoenen bij kreeg afgelopen jaar) en ... MO*-magazine, een uiterst links-ideologisch blad van de vakbonden. De hele factcheck-industrie heeft intussen een eigen staatshervorming nodig. Er zal de komende weken weer veel gesproken worden over "nieuwe inkomsten" en "vijf na twaalf voor de begroting". De harde waarheid is: zolang deze uitgaven blijven bestaan, gaan we nooit iets oplossen. Deze zomer keurden N-VA, Vooruit en CD&V een nieuw subsidieplan goed voor socio-culturele organisaties. Herinner je: dat was die onwaarschijnlijke waslijst aan miljoenen subsidies voor boswandelingen, vakbondsopleidingen, klimaatorganisaties, tot zelfs VZW's die geloven in het bestaan van draken. Eén constante daarbij: al die organisaties staan zeer dichtbij ministers (zelfs persoonlijk) en partijen. Verzuiling anno 2026. Je zou denken dat na al die ophef vorig jaar de subsidies zouden afgezwakt worden.
