Stando ad una agenzia diffusa oggi, il fondatore di Futuro Nazionale ha affermato che la Russia è stata provocata dalla NATO con continue esercitazioni prima del 2022, alle quali il Cremlino “rispondeva con altrettante esercitazioni”, e che l’invasione è avvenuta perché “la misura era ormai colma”. Parole che sembrano un’interessante variazione rispetto alla versione dell’allargamento ad est dell’Alleanza Atlantica. Anche qualora al generale, in tanti anni di carriera militare (alcuni dei quali trascorsi proprio a Mosca) e dei pochi passati finora in politica fosse sfuggito il dettaglio che Putin nega da circa 20 anni il diritto dell’Ucraina ad esistere al di fuori dell’orbita russa e che al momento dell’annessione della Crimea, nel 2014, l’Ucraina era neutrale per voto a maggioranza della Rada, il parlamento di Kyiv, la scusa delle esercitazioni è, se vogliamo, ancora più ridicola. Intanto non ci vuole molto a capire dai dati che le esercitazioni NATO si svolgevano con poche migliaia di uomini e raramente con 40-50.000 unità, mentre quelle russe hanno spesso raggiunto le 100.000 presenze e talvolta sfiorato le 200.000 (peraltro suddivise in tanti piccoli "sotto-addestramenti" indipendenti sulla carta, ma diretti da un unico comando centrale, per sfuggire alla regola che impone la presenza di osservatori OSCE quando si superano i 13.000 uomini impiegati). Va poi detto che la NATO utilizzava tutto il territorio europeo, perché di volta in volta si simulavano vari scenari, incluse crisi legate ai mari del nord o nel Mediterraneo o i trasferimenti rapidi di mezzi e truppe. Quelle russe, invece, si sono invece per lo più concentrate al confine con i paesi occidentali ed in particolare in Bielorussia e nell’exclave di Kaliningarad. Le più colossali sono non a caso quelle che si svolgono ogni 4 anni e che prendono il nome di “Zapad”, cioè letteralmente “Occidente”, tanto per rendere chiaro quale sia il nemico designato. Perché di nemico si tratta, dal momento che gli scenari (in genere molto realistici), a differenza di quelli elaborati negli addestramenti dei paesi dell’Alleanza Atlantica, simulano per lo più azioni offensive di attacchi su territori stranieri, sbarchi e invasioni, che in più occasioni avevano come obiettivo i Baltici, in genere attaccati dopo averli isolati attraverso il corridoio Suwalki (che collega Bielorussia e Kaliningrad). A tutto questo aggiungo che le “minacciose” esercitazioni occidentali sono sempre rimaste solo esercitazioni. Nel caso della Russia, questo non è altrettanto vero. L'invasione della Georgia fu preceduta dall'esercitazione Kavkaz-2008 a luglio. Le truppe rimossero i pesanti equipaggiamenti dai campi di addestramento solo per dirigerli direttamente oltre il confine georgiano poche settimane dopo. L'annessione illegale della Crimea e l'intervento nel Donbas del 2014 furono preceduti da Zapad 2013 e poi coperti da imponenti "ispezioni a sorpresa" (snap exercises) ordinate da Putin lungo il confine ucraino, che servirono a mascherare i movimenti delle truppe d'élite. Le esercitazioni congiunte russo-bielorusse Allied Resolve, avviate all’inizio di febbraio 2022 con il pretesto di testare la difesa comune, sono inoltre state la piattaforma di lancio letterale per l'attacco su Kiev del 24 febbraio e l’invasione su vasta scala. Le truppe non sono mai tornate nelle guarnigioni d'origine, semplicemente hanno varcato il confine. Quindi la mia domanda a Vannacci è: chi provocava chi? Preferisco pensare che il Generale sia solo un pessimo politico e che sia stato un ancora peggiore militare. Perché l’alternativa sarebbe chiedersi se non stia tradendo la Nazione che per entrambi questi ruoli dovrebbe aver servito e servire tutt’ora, per fare invece gli interessi di un paese del quale continua imperterrito a diffondere la propaganda. #Russia #NATO #Propaganda
