Hello everyone, the code for Aracne2 has been on GitHub for a few months now — a modular CMS for editing and publishing TEI corpora. A companion volume, published by FedOA Press, covers its origins, architecture and features in detail. In brief: – schema-aware XML editor, with validation per document and across a whole collection; – staged editorial workflow with versioning and a clean split between working copy and published copy; – named entities linked to authority files (Wikidata, VIAF, GeoNames, ORCID, GND and others); – bibliography with BibTeX/CSL-JSON/Zotero import and DOI resolution; – facsimiles and zones for text-image alignment; – XSLT-driven public site generator, with configurable indices and search portals; – LOD and OAI-PMH for harvesting, deposit to Zenodo, Dataverse, Internet Archive and git forges; – audit log and fixity, plus policy pages aimed at projects preparing for a CoreTrustSeal review. Architecturally, there are two distinct data layers: PostgreSQL for platform state (users, roles, plugins, audit), eXist-db for TEI documents, stored natively and queried in XQuery. Python/FastAPI backend, Vue 3 frontend, fully containerised. Every integration is a plugin that mounts without a restart, so a deployment can stay minimal or grow along with the project. The AI side is there but optional and can be switched off: in-editor assistance (explaining validation errors, normalising bibliography, tagging named entities), local RAG over the TEI P5 Guidelines, and a read-only MCP server that lets an external assistant query the corpus. Anyone who cannot or would rather not send their texts to a cloud service can run the whole thing locally with Ollama. Aracne2 is the third iteration of a line of tools that began in 2008 with MaRa, the scripts written to mark up the Angevin Registers, continued with Aracne (2016-2026, built entirely on eXist-db), and arrives at this rewrite. The FedOA Press volume reconstructs that trajectory at length. It is all free: you can download it and try it locally with a handful of commands. Aracne2 is open to experiment and ready to be put to the test on new projects — reports, criticism and proposals are all welcome.

Migration is Literally Invasion For 50 years, the traitors in the West have insisted that immigration is not invasion. And now the inevitable has become undeniable: “Spain has deployed just 60 troops to its North African exclave of Ceuta after thousands of migrants overwhelmed security forces and stormed across the border from Morocco, with up to 60.000 more people reportedly swarming the frontier. The Spanish Interior Ministry said the military contingent consisted of three platoons of 20 soldiers each, sent to reinforce the Guardia Civil after officers admitted that the border had “totally collapsed.” Madrid also dispatched specialized police units, bringing their total number to around 200, as well as 30 additional Guardia Civil officers. The small military deployment came after Ceuta’s regional government pleaded with Madrid to take “decisive” action, close the border and declare a national emergency, warning that local police, hospitals and migrant reception facilities had been overwhelmed. Grandiosa vittoria di #Norris e della #McLaren, partenza perfetta e poi via. Assetto perfetto e macchina perfetta anche sulle hard. Chiaro miglioramento anche come deployment per il team papaya. #Piastri ritirato era stato però più lento tutta la gara rispetto a Lando, realisticamente limitando addirittura il gap che avrebbe avuto Norris alla fine. La seconda cosa eclatante, prima di parlare di Max e Kimi, è l'esecuzione ALLUCINANTE della #Ferrari, che subisce una delle peggiori sconfitte dell'anno per una serie di errori generalizzati, piloti, muretto, strategia... il passo per battere Norris non ci sarebbe stato, ma il team di Maranello poteva anzitutto rendere la gara molto meno agevole a Lando, dopodiché avrebbe dovuto quantomeno essere subito lì a battagliare e invece finisce clamorosamente giù dal podio. Già in qualifica l'errore con l'impeding di Lewis e l'uscita per primi nell'ultimo giro in Q3 (senza senso con la pole provvisoria). Poi unici a partire con le soft per tentare di mettersi davanti e invece #Leclerc è finito P5 da P2 e #Hamilton con soft nuove che non ha passato nessuno. Il passo con le soft c'era, ma Lewis era incastrato dietro a #Verstappen. Lo passa con l'undercut e poi subisce il controsorpasso e rimane di nuovo incastrato, buttando via la possibilità di provare a stare con McLaren. Senza sorpasso si sarebbe potuto infilare dietro a Piastri davanti a Norris dopo il pit, per dire... Da lì poi è emerso che il passo con la hard era buono ma non veloce come con la soft. La hard durava di più ma scivolava anche di più e per un setup così border line al posteriore come quello della #SF26 era un handicap. Non si capisce perché non provare la soft con nessuno dei piloti anche se usata. Per concludere la doppia sosta sotto VSC che ha messo davanti Kimi e la penalità di 5 secondi a Lewis per velocità in pit. Difficile inanellare una serie così allucinante. Che differenza faceva qui l'esecuzione? Basta guardare #Verstappen: macchina che non sta in pista, scomposta, mangia le gomme, instabile... però buona partenza, buona gestione, sorpassone su Lewis, pit al momento giusto, soft alla fine. Risultato? P2 con la terza/quarta forza in pista. Grandioso anche Kimi, che finisce sul podio e allunga nel mondiale con una gara superlativa, di passo e concretezza. Bravissimi quelli sul podio. La qualifica di Spa conferma tanto di quanto detto e visto alla vigilia. La #F1 26 qui fa davvero fatica coi rettilinei immensi e tanto fa la capacità di adattarsi e di guidare nel modo migliore in ottica energia e deployment. Kimi va e convince, guida la macchina con il miglior motore e con un buon telaio e solo lui in squadra ha davvero capito come sfruttarla. Il vento e comunque una certa sensibilità alle condizioni che sta emergendo per tutti man mano che si affinano le qualità aero delle macchine hanno un po' complicato la vita di #Antonelli all'inizio, ma poi è andato e nessuno l'ha più preso. Bene #Verstappen, che trova il grip nell'S2 e capitalizza la scia del compagno e le scelte uniche di #RedBull in termini di erogazione. Da capire come gestirà in gara le gomme. Benissimo #McLaren, con un ottimo #Norris che però sconterà la penalità. La scelta per loro è quella di un assetto con tanto carico aero a sfruttare le 5 zone ad ali apribili e funziona. Vedremo se lo farà anche in gara. Bene nel complesso anche la #Ferrari, bandiera gialla a parte (1 posizione persa da #Leclerc, ininfluente su una partenza del genere): tenere botta comunque su una pista del genere che espone le carenze PU senza la minima possibilità di nascondersi è già un buon punto di partenza in qualifica. Bene anche #Hamilton con la macchina assemblata di corsa a pochi millesimi da Charles. In gara il passo dovrebbe essere molto più premiante per la rossa che ha un buon assetto complessivo e va forte nei tratti da carico (ma sul giro secco deve risparmiare energia anche nel misto per averne nell'S3). Per la gara strategie aperte con la soft che si può usare, Kimi favorito d'obbligo, Leclerc e Hamilton in lotta con Russell e Max per il podio, ma al giro 1 fino a Les Combes chissà cosa può succedere con queste auto. #BelgianGP #F1 #BelgianGP #Motorsport

Alla fine la qualifica del #BritishGP è stata tiratissima tra #Ferrari e #Mercedes. Se i tifosi della rossa possono avere un filo di delusione dopo quanto visto ieri, se giovedì qualcuno avesse detto che entrambe le #SF26 sarebbero state in lotta per la pole fino all'ultimo giro del Q3 non ci avrebbe creduto nessuno. Le differenze tra i due team si mantengono ma con qualche chiaro aggiustamento, soprattutto lato Mercedes. #Leclerc ritrova una prestazione convincente dopo tanto lavoro è un giusto premio, anche se ovviamente la gara è domani ed ha ancora tutto da costruire. #Hamilton fa un'ottima sessione ma gli manca un po' l'ultimo giro questa volta. Ferrari buonissima nel lento, con #Antonelli che fa anche un errore costoso in curva 3. Leclerc fa sempre un po' di harvesting proprio alla 3 e ne fa uno enorme all'ingresso della 6, più o meno come visto nella Sprint. La novità è che per il Q3 Mercedes scarica tanta energia prima di Copse, proprio come visto fare alla Ferrari ieri. è evidente che c'è una richiesta supplmentare sull'ibrido perché solo in quel punto Antonelli usa l'ottava marcia ed è successo solo nei due giri finali del Q3, a conferma di una mappa spintissima proprio per l'ultimo giro. Una volta pareggiato il conto sul punto migliore per la rossa, Antonelli procede ad un ottimo passaggio a Maggotts-Becketts Chapel e a prendersi un decimo di vantaggio nell'Hangar Straight, con Leclerc qui sì in fame di energia rispetto alla Mercedes. Lampante l'ottimizzazione migliorata del deployment Mercedes rispetto a ieri. Kimi fa poi Stowe in maniera super aggressiva, mostrando tanto grip laterale e forse confermando anche la nostra teoria di ieri e cioé che Ferrari per ottimizzare l'energia ha anche un'aero un po' più scarica. Leclerc poi fa una super staccata alla Vale, ma l'uscita vede Kimi rimettersi davanti. Per chi lo chiedesse #Russell perde 1 decimo e mezzo di motore nell'hangar straight, per cui è vero che ha qualche problema di motore, ma lasica solo la posizione di Lewis. Antonelli comunque veramente fenomenale, sta mantenendo davanti una Mercedes che ora si trova braccata da vicinissimo da quella che è comunque davvero un'ottima Ferrari. Confermato il poco drag e la maggior potenza della rossa, sarà da vedere il passo sui grandi carichi laterali. #RedBull terza forza ma lontana (#Hadjar davanti a #Verstappen!), #McLaren in grande crisi sul grip.
